Revered Parampoojya P. K. Sardeshmukh Maharaj, the founder of the Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust was an authority on Indian Traditional Sciences. He was truly a multi-faceted personality. Genuine & sincere work was Godly service to him. The desire of, rejuvenating the age-old Indian sciences & traditions, having a scientific approach towards them & inspiring the younger generation to learn & propagate them, motivated Parampoojya Maharaj to establish Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust in 1954. Maharaj donated 63 acres of land to the trust for a noble cause to pursue academics in Four Vedas (Ancient Indian Literature inspired by sages), Six Shastras (Science), Eighteen Puranas (Literature explaining Brahma in simplified way), Fourteen Vidyas (Lore) & Sixty-four Kalas (Art field). The trust is located at Wagholi, about 20 kms. east from Pune. Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh, as a Chairman of Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust, has always paid a special attention to develop the projects being undertaken by the trust on with the help of modern technology without any compromise with the authenticity of the traditional science. The positive and optimistic outcomes of all the projects, is the result of Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh's determination, devotion and hard work supported by the concerned people.
Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh is striving hard to fulfil dreams of Parampoojya Maharaj, in the field of Indian Science and Culture, moving steps ahead with the support of well-wishers, staff and donors resulting in Parampoojya Maharaj's dreams coming to reality.
Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust has undertaken many ventures under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh and these projects are personally looked after by him as a Director of these projects. The trust deals into various projects, viz. Ayurved Hospital & Research Centre, Various Research Projects viz. Cancer Research Project; AIDS Research Project; Arthiritis Research Project; Female-Child Research Project; Fracture and Delayed Bone Healing Project, Atharva Ayurved Pharmaceuticals, Sanjivanee Medicinal Plantation, Panchakarma Centre, Book Publication, Ayurved College, Ayurvedic Courses, Sam Sangeet Sabha, Yoga Centre etc.
Still many projects are under process and under consideration of Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh to start off and be successful under his able guidance. |
