Investigator : Fracture & Delayed Bone Healing Project :-
Delayed healing of the bones after fracture is a major concern in India due to malnourishment. Director Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh has started this project since 1999 to find out efficacy of Ayurvedic medicines in fracture & delayed bone healing as a supportive therapy. More than 150 patients of delayed bone are enrolled in
3 years & treated with Ayurvedic Therapy, Panchakarma & Diet Therapy. Above 80% of them showed callus formation in X-ray & got satisfactory result.
